Soccer field at Singapore Polytechnic was renovated in 2004. Selection of cowgrass (Axnonpus compressus) and soil base construction method are commonly adopted by the industry. Nevertheless, it does not necessarily mean low standard of low field maintenance.

Integrated Maintenance Practices include NOT just grass cutting but enhancement cultural practices approach, educate the users and ensure that the turf grass will withstand adverse environment and human traffic. These practices will definitely prolong its life span and reduce any subsequent cost of repairs in the long run.
